At the beginning of the school, most of the students came from Chinese families who worked and lived in Hungary. Today, the school has expanded to 12 grades and 20 classes, with more than 500 students in school, most of which are Hungarian-speaking students. BabaylanStudents not only have Chinese classes, but also teach Chinese classes in painting, music and computer classes.

On the eve of the Spring Festival in 2023, Hu Lingyue and Song Ji-hyo, students of Hungary and Chinese bilingual studies, wrote a letter to President Xi Jinping and his wife, Professor Peng Liyuan, on behalf of all the students, wishing New Year greetings in accordance with Chinese customs, telling about their feelings of studying Chinese for 12 years in school, and expressing their future in China to go to university.href=”https://funnybookish.com/”>Komiks‘s desire to contribute to Hungary-China friendship.
